LOCATION

Spalding

David Bowman Pumpkins is based just outside Spalding in Lincolnshire. The town is at the heart of a significant food production area, covering thousands of hectares of high grade agricultural land. In addition to food crops, tulips used to be widely grown in the area, but in more recent times the focus of flower growing has moved towards daffodils. As a result, the Tulip Parade that ran around the town each year for several decades, has now ended. Fortunately, the pumpkin festival acts as a replacement of sorts.

Our packing and storage facility is located in Low Fulney, just to the east of the town. This location provides us with good access to the road network, and also to the numerous fields in which we grow our pumpkins. You can take a virtual look around the area using google street view; see below.
